Join Tetra Pak’s Sustainability Journey at Expo 2020

Tetra Pak is ready for Expo 2020 in Dubai, one of the world’s largest events which will open its doors to visitors on October 1, 2021.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – : Tetra Pak is an official partner to the Sweden Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai which will open its doors on Friday, October 1, 2021. To communicate its messages on sustainability, one of its core priorities, the company will feature its sustainable packaging solutions, carton packages for water and furniture made of recycled packages. Tetra Pak is inviting all visitors to join its sustainability journey to deliver the world’s most sustainable food packaging.

Special carton water packages for Expo 2020

As part of its ‘Go nature. Go carton.’ campaign through which Tetra Pak communicates its goal of not only meeting the needs of the food industry and consumers, but also delivering the world’s most sustainable food packaging with reduced environmental and climate impact, the company will feature the special carton water packages designed for Sweden Pavilion.  Besides this, the furniture made of recycled packages including tables, podiums, stand tables, coffee tables, coffee table tops and a divider to be used in the conference area will be at the Sweden pavilion.

In line with the company’s goal of enabling visitors to connect with the packages, the visitors will be able to access videos on Tetra Pak’s ‘Go nature. Go carton.’ campaign and sustainability approach via QR codes placed on tree trunks.

A call from kids to adults for protecting the planet

Tetra Pak calls adults to take action and make a promise for a sustainable future through a video featured on its website www.tetrapak.com/expo2020, dedicated to Expo 2020 in Dubai. Moreover, with the fun and engaging board game on sustainability which can be downloaded via the webpage, it aims to educate kids with simple actions and enhance their awareness of this topic.  

25 million visitors are expected

The main theme of Expo 2020 in Dubai is ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,’ while the Sweden Pavilion is organized around the theme of ‘The Forest.’ 25 million people from 90 countries are expected to visit this special event which is organized every five years and will run until March 31 next year.
