Al Khawaneej Walk, the community mall located in the heart of Al Khawaneej neighbourhood, is hosting a live show starring the notorious Mad Hatter from Lewis Carrol’s celebrated children’s classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’ from 24 – 30 December 2020.
Comprising three different Mad Hatter performers as well as Hatter’s best friend, the Dormouse, the three different acts represent his multiple personalities at the unique tea party he hosts inside the mall. The first character, the Merry Mad Hatter, presents a positive and happy personality, while the second – Mad as a Hatter – shows off his dark and foreboding side. The third act belongs to the Bashful Mad Hatter and highlights his sweet and shy personality.
Continuing with the theme of the beloved novel that tells the tale of Alice and her adventures in Wonderland, once she follows White Rabbit down a rabbit hole, a dedicated arts and crafts area within the mall is hosting quirky workshops to teach kids to create rabbit masks, greeting cards, their very own White Rabbit pocket watch, bookmarks, strings of hearts and card armies, among other decorations.
Kids visiting Al Khawaneej Walk, can also meet Alice, the White Queen and the Queen of Hearts’ Frog – all traipsing around the community destination, and capture the fun moments with the beloved characters on film.
