Landmark Arabia named fifth-best place to work for Saudi nationals

Retail conglomerate is one of the biggest retail employers in Saudi Arabia, with more than 5,000 Saudi nationals, 80 per cent of which are women

Riyadh-KSA: – Landmark Arabia, the Saudi arm of Landmark Group –  the region’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerate – has been named one of the top five workplaces in 2021 for Saudi nationals by Great Place to Work® (GPTW).

Recognition from GPTW, a global research, human resources consultancy that identifies the best workplaces in over 60 countries worldwide, underlines Landmark Arabia’s commitment to the professional growth of Saudi citizens through career acceleration, and training and development programmes.

GPTW recognition underscores Landmark Arabia’s efforts to offer a list of career acceleration programmes, such as the ERTIQAA Career framework, Store Management Development Programme, Supervisor Development Program, Area Manager Development Program and Warehouse Education Programme. They aim to provide Saudis, across floor and supervisory levels, with a clear and distinct pathway to own their professional growth.

Almost 93 per cent of participating employees were promoted after completing the career acceleration programmes, with participation coverage of 5615 Saudi employees since its launch. More than 530 Saudi nationals are currently engaged in various career development programs and around 2000 employees in training programmes. Landmark Arabia continuously aims to upskill employee capabilities, create a robust culture of learning and mentoring across the group, and empower employees to continue to deliver real value to the business

With more than 200,000 Saudis joining the workforce in 2021, according to data from the National Observation of Labor recently, Landmark Arabia is now one of the biggest retail employers in Saudi Arabia, with more than 5,000 Saudi nationals, 80 per cent of which are women.
