Oman Air brings citizens home from Tunisia and Cyprus

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, is operating a flight in to bring dozens of Omanis home from Tunisia and Cyprus, and bring 201 Tunisians to their homeland.

The outbound flight, conducted in cooperation with the Tunisian Embassy in Muscat, departed at 6:19 am GST on Thursday, 23 April, with a same-day return scheduled. The Airbus A330 flew to the Tunisian capital of Tunis, where a number of Omanis boarded the aircraft, before a scheduled stop in Larnaca, Cyprus to pick up more citizens and return to Muscat.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman Air has recently brought citizens home from several countries including Tanzania, United Kingdom, India, Qater, KSA and Jordan – while carefully following experts’ recommendations to ensure the safety of its crewmembers and passengers.
