UAE, Dubai- Since its recent opening VAGA has made waves on the Dubai dining scene! Located optimally on Bluewaters Island, under the gaze of Ain Dubai, VAGA takes guests on an epic journey of culinary and sensory discovery. More than just a conceptual nuance, VAGA boldly fuses Arabic and Armenian cuisines, drawing on a lifetime of heritage and traditions from both regions.
Dubai’s foodies can now savour a myriad of stunning VAGA flavours, as they launch their VAGABOND Brunch on 1st of October. Every Saturday from 1 pm – 4 pm, guests can bask in the menu showcase of signature dishes, with three brunch packages starting at AED 350 per person.
Begin the brunch experience by choosing a delicious cold starter or salad that will perfectly set the scene for a superb dining experience, with the likes of Tuna Ceviche, Spiced Beef Tartare, Imam Bayildi, or Quinoa Tropical Spiced Mango Salad.
Moving onto hot starters that include Marinated Grilled Chicken Skewers, Aleppo Kebab with Cherry Sauce, Robata Baked Potato, and Honey-Glazed Black Angus Beef Skewers.
Main courses will be an unforgettable affair boasting signature dishes like Manti, that combines beef ravioli deliciously with mint, yogurt, tomato sauce, and chilli, Lamb Ouzi served with fluffy rice, nuts, and parsley, and Grilled Baby Chicken basted in chilli sauce and garlic, not to mention the Beluga Caviar, Oscietra, Honey-Glazed Wagyu Short Ribs
The brunch will end with a gorgeous pavlova that is chewy and crisp on top, with a soft and airy filling. Guests can further bolster their fine dining experience by adding the Black Summer Truffle with an additional spend.
There are three packages starting with the Non-Alcoholic Experience (AED350) that includes refreshing beverages such as Colour of Pomegranate and Dukkah, fresh juices, soft drinks, herbal teas, and Raw Coffee. The mixology of non-alcoholic cocktails in VAGA is a reflection of middle eastern spices, rounded with many other flavours from all corners of the world.
The Signature Experience (AED 450) boasts an exciting and seriously cool cocktail list that has been created by award winning Armenian mixologist Agassi Serobyan, such as Mountain Breeze – Aperol, rose lemonade, prosecco, citrus, and a drop of rhubarb cordial, Astlik – Pomegranate tequila, fresh lime, pomegranate & basil soda, with a pinch of pomegranate & basil salt and Cleo – 1800 Reposado tequila, aperol, dukkah, passion fruit & fresh lime. Premium wines, beers, and spirits will also be served alongside fresh juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffee.
If guests have a penchant for champagne, then they can indulge in A Fine Dosage (AED 750) that serves up Veuve Clicquot champagne!
The atmosphere will be lively and upbeat, making for the ultimate way to spend a Saturday afternoon. A tasteful party vibe will reign supreme at the hands of brilliant DJ Bianca Blanco. She’s a music traveller committed to the quality of sounds, energy and vibes that will leave a mark wherever she plays. Expect a myriad of organic, ethnic, afro tribal sounds with a touch of Anatolian edge accent that melds dark disco and dance indie.
