In an effort to support the local community during the month of Ramadan, the team at Radisson Blu Hotel, Jeddah Al Salam volunteered and distributed Iftar hampers to hundreds of fasting Muslims in Jeddah.
The three-day distribution drive was in line with the Radisson Hotel Group’s Responsible Business initiative, where employees volunteer and participate in activities to help the local community and make a difference.
“We managed to distribute over 1000 ready-made Iftar meals in several neighborhoods across Jeddah and believe these small acts can make a big difference,” said Firas Mneimneh, General Manager and KSA Western Province District Director at Radisson Hotel Group. “Just as much as we are eager to provide the best to our guests, we strive to lend a hand to communities in need and allow them to experience a share of our service so everyone benefits.”
Mneimneh also stressed that as hospitality leaders, it is our responsibility to help, support and sustain the development of our community which he and his team are very passionate about.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Jeddah Al Salam has steered numerous activities previously around sustainability and community service under its Responsible Business umbrella.
