Rosewood Jeddah celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the first Saudi state, which falls on February 22nd of each year.
The Saudi Founding Day expresses the ancient and honorable history of the kingdom, and the great leaders who made the Kingdom’s renaissance generation after generation, and as it embodies the extent of interest and keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman – may God protect them – in the history of the homeland and linking citizens to the historical depth of our state Great since the era of Imam Muhammad bin Saud – may God have mercy on him – the founder of the first Saudi state about 3 centuries ago.
On this occasion, Rosewood held a public invitation and an open day to celebrate this occasion dear to the hearts of all Saudis.
The guests were greeted with the Al-Arda, a National Sword dance which is the most important artistic ritual and valuable heritage treasure of the Kingdom.
Guests also enjoyed drinking Saudi coffee prepared live for guests in the traditional tent at the hotel entrance to celebrate this great occasion. They also got acquainted with the Saudi traditional arts, as well as the arts of henna inscription.
The Habsburg Restaurant was also dedicated to serving the most delicious traditional food from Saudi cuisine, and special events were held in the Sky Lounge, in which special performances of authentic Saudi music were presented.
