Saudi Fashion Designer Rasha Al-Rifaie Introduces her New Collection “La Lune Du Eid”.

Jeddah -: Saudi entrepreneur and fashion designer Rasha Al-Rifaie launched her new 2021 Spring/Summer collection “La Lune Du Eid”. This new collection, which is inspired by the sunset’s reflection on the waves of the sea, was personally designed by Rasha and includes five new designs based on Arab heritage with stylistic Western touches in brilliant colors showcasing her delicate sense of style. Her fabrics of choice for “La Lune Du Eid” were linen, crepe and chiffon and this collection suits women and young girls aged 15 to 40, as well as most occasions when paired with the right accessories.

Al-Rifaie said that her new collection is the beginning of the road for her brand in the fashion world, adding that linen is the fabric of choice for hot, humid weather as it quickly removes perspiration and keeps the body free of moisture. Linen is also breathable, allowing air to flow between its fibers keeping you cooler in hot weather.  The chiffon used in “La Lune Du Eid” is one of the fabrics most suited for dresses and gives a romantic, feminine look. It also reflects delicacy, fun and vibrancy, truly a trend which never stales in this season.

What makes Rasha Al-Rifaie’s collection so unique is her use of crepe fabric, which is a high-quality fabric with an elegant appeal. It is characterized by its flexibility, gives the wearer a thinning appearance and has an exceptionally effortless fall, making it an incredible fabric for gathering occasions or other formal events. Crepe is likewise favored for day-by-day wear since it requires little to no pressing and is soft and comfortable. A Crepe is a sensibly absorbent fabric and can be dyed into many colors and designs with various sorts of prints.

Al-Rifaie confirmed that her designs are all limited editions to give more distinction and uniqueness to her customers. She was keen not to use models to display her new collection and preferred to wear it during the photo session herself instead.
