Chicago — Since its formation in 1988, SITE Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has raised over $10m USD to support projects, initiatives and programs in the incentive travel industry. Funds were raised through annual events like SITE Classic, SITE NITE North America, SITE NITE Europe and through donations from SITE Chapters, SITE Members and industry at large.
Today it launches its first Impact Report, highlighting how its global community of incentive travel professionals has benefitted from the funds SITE Foundation has raised for professional development and learning; content and research; and grants, bursaries and awards.
Kevin Regan, CIS, MBA, 2022 SITE Foundation President and AVP, Global Charters and Incentives for Azamara said, “A key element of our mission is to raise funds but to reach our full potential, our Board of Trustees determined that a better, clearer, more comprehensive articulation of our impact was necessary. That’s why we produced the Impact Report, showing how SITE Foundation has invested a staggering $10 million USD back into the incentive travel industry since the Foundation’s formation in the late 80s. The report also shows how we spent over $1.7m USD since 2016 alone, supporting 105 projects, and impacting over 16,000 individuals.”
Annette Gregg, CMM, MBA, the CEO of SITE & SITE Foundation, added “SITE Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to drive the business case for incentive travel & motivational experiences, and support professional development within the industry. Our inaugural Impact Report channels the real, tangible difference that our programs make, year in and year out on the lives and livelihoods of incentive travel professionals all over the world. It demonstrates, unequivocally, to our supporters, sponsors and donors, the extraordinary impact of their generosity.
