The Exclusive Festive Diwali Thali Experience by Chef Saneesh Varghese

The Oberoi, Dubai, is inviting guests to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, with a special ‘Signature thali by Chef Saneesh’ menu at its multi cuisine restaurant Nine7One. This menu, created by Chef Saneesh Varghese, will be offered alongside the usual à la carte selection every evening from 11 November to 15 November 2020. On 14th November, Nine7One will offer this exclusive signature thali during lunch hours as well.

Chef Saneesh captures India’s rich culinary heritage, showcasing a variety of authentic cooking techniques. Saneesh started working with Oberoi hotels since 2004, and with his quest to learn more and see different cultures, took him to the different cities of India before he moved to Dubai. Chef Saneesh has catered to many dignitaries around the world and has cooked for some of the very big fat Indian weddings and destination weddings around the globe.

Saneesh has selected some of the finest and unique dishes from different regions of India along with traditional dishes like The lamb galouti kebab, Basil & ginger fish tikka, Murgh angara, Lamb nihari, Bengali chingdi masala and Awadhi dum biryani for the signature thali. To finish the evening on a sweeter note, signature thali desserts include chunkder ka halwa, malua with pineapple rabri and Rasmalai espuma.

This signature thali is priced at AED 175 per person as vegetarian option to AED 250 per person for non-vegetarian option and, is ideal to share with friends and family at this special time of year.  Guests can choose to enjoy their celebratory meal at Nine7One from 7pm onwards. The especially curated signature thali offers a wide selection for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian epicureans and is served with freshly made Indian breads and steamed basmati rice. An Indian dessert sampler provides the perfect end to the gastronomic experience.
