The National Marketing Company Ltd. (NMC) participated in the Jeddah International Motor Show, which was held during the period 6-10 December in Jeddah Superdome, where the company’s pavilion showcased its latest models to be launched in 2022 in the Saudi vehicles market, the fastest growing in the Middle East and Africa. The participation included the presentation of KIA test drive at the exhibition on Thursday, December 9 and Friday, December 10.
The National Marketing Company extended an exclusive invitation to the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Jeddah, H.E. Mr. Han Byoung-jin, who delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation for visiting the KIA/NMC pavilion. He also praised the Saudi-Korean strong ties, wishing them further progress and prosperity.
NMC participation in the show came as an affirmation of its keenness to stay at the heart of the most of the auto sector significant events, in order to update KIA’s enthusiasts with its latest models and sophisticated technologies that it presents, as well as the amazing designs that qualified it to win many prestigious awards, including KIA K8 winning of the “National Award for Best Large Sedan 2021-2022” from PR Arabia and Sports Motor, KIA Sorento winning of the “Best Midsize Family SUV 2021” from Sports Motor, and KIA Seltos winning the title of the “Best SUV Crossover for 2021”.
On the occasion, Hassan bin Mohammed Al-Shamrani, CEO of the National Marketing Company, expressed his happiness saying: “It was so exciting to participate in such a leading international show in the Kingdom and present the KIA’s latest models. We have built the culture and strategy of NMC, and took work’s capability as a keystone of the company’s initiatives and plans, seeing innovation as ideal approach to enrich customers’ experiences.”
He added saying: “KIA has set a new goal summed up in expanding its line of green vehicles by 2025 to a total of 16 models: five HEVs, five PHEVs, five EVs and one FCEV.
In this context, the marketing and sales team of NMC received visitors at the company’s pavilion where they had all their inquiries answered and all assistance they need provided.
It is worth noting that KIA Motors has introduced its first connected car in 2020, and will expand this and related technologies in order to ultimately make all its cars equipped with the internet and other online services by 2030.
NMC’s participation in Jeddah International Motor Show closely follows its appointment as an agent for KIA cars in the Kingdom’s Western Region, where it distributes KIA sales in 7 administrative districts out of the 13 districts of the region. The company’s participation in this motor show comes as a part of its efforts to consolidate the KIA’s brand in the Saudi market.
