Dubai, UAE-: Jumeirah Lake Towers sees the opening of an innovative new dining destination this month, adding a visit worthy stop to Dubai’s ever growing culinary scene. Not Only Fish, a Pan-Asian restaurant offers an authentic experience of Asian cultures, entwined with an ambience of lively dance, music and cocktails to match.
Found in Kyiv by Alexadr Orlov, now Owner and Chairman of the group, Not Only Fish pays tribute to the richness of Asian cultures by delivering a spectacular fusion of Pan-Asian flavours from Japan and Korea amongst many other cuisines. Once combined, these dishes promise to tantalise the palate, leaving guests astonished in a striking contemporary setup.
The Not Only Fish concept is built around providing a unique experience of Asian cultures without breaking the bank. Ryan Fourie, General Manager, describes the concept as “Food and dance, where you can try rich Pan-Asian specialities and signature cocktails whilst sensational live music and performances add spark to the evening”.
The refreshingly exquisite menu could only be described as an abundance of spices and a combination of different ingredients based on traditional Pan-Asian specialities which creates mouth-watering dishes, captivating to all. Served in a new unique location of the ever-lively JLT, Not Only Fish will cater to the community of residents and business with perfect meals for their every occasion.
Adding to its marvellous gastronomy, the restaurant insists on maintaining the superb quality of food by using fresh ingredient and adopting methods such as grilling, steaming, stewing, and more, ensuring that the flavour and nutritional value of the food is retained.
As the name quite vividly suggests, Not Only Fish will include a Raw Bar offering fresh and authentic sushi, sashimi, and tartare. Amongst their starters are the infamous Shrimp Popcorn, Dumpling, Spring Rolls, and Bao infused with the restaurant’s appetising fillings, only to be followed by their signature dishes straight from the Open Robata. The delightful dishes will include fresh seafood amongst many other meat dishes, making for a perfect sharing platter. On cooler September nights, shisha will be offered in the outdoor seating area for a relaxing end to the Not Only Fish experience.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits visitors in a contemporary set up built to create an ample space to move freely, dance and enjoy the ambience of live music against a backdrop of natural colour palettes and greenery, extending across an indoor and outdoor seating area. Located on the ground floor of Almas Towers in JLT, Not Only Fish will serve residents and businesses within the area, including Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Heights, Meadows, Springs, and nearby vicinities, as well as Eastern European tourists who travel to Dubai.
Open daily from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am on weekdays and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 am on weekends, the 300-seater Not Only Fish will be a great addition to Dubai’s diverse culinary scene.
