Augustine is a rare place, where history meets newly arising tales, as the hotel was carefully transformed from an Augustinian monastery dating back to 1284. Friendly monks living next door preserve authentic monastic ambiance while cubist design brings in a contemporary touch. 101 unique rooms and suites were designed by Olga Polizzi, who carefully combined unique historical characteristics from vaulted ceilings to wooden beams with modern features to originate a distinctive atmosphere.
