BRIX’s own globally-celebrated Chef Carmen Rueda Hernandez and award-winning Emirati pastry chef Sahar Parham Al Awadhi will collaborate on September 20 – 22
A special and sweet culinary collaboration will unite two of the region’s most renowned pastry chefs at Dubai’s only dessert restaurant, BRIX in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour for a three-day event this month.
BRIX’s globally-celebrated Chef Carmen Rueda Hernandez – who won the LaListe Award for excellence in pastry artistry in Paris this month, and award-winning Emirati pastry chef Sahar Parham Al Awadhi will come together to present gastronomes with an indulgent dessert journey infused with symbolism, cultural significance, and a tribute to the diverse yet shared ingredients of the UAE and Spain – the chefs’ native countries.
The multi-course dining experience invites guests to dine from September 20 – 22, at either 6pm or 9pm, to delve into dishes that draw inspiration from both culinary traditions, resulting in a rich tapestry of flavours and textures.
Priced at AED 350 per person for seven courses and five paired beverages, the journey showcases desserts that not only introduce a new dessert experience but also offer a glimpse into the folklore and narratives passed down through centuries of culinary heritage shaped by migrations and historical events.
Whether it’s the use of seasonal fruits to capture Arabic hospitality or the infusion of golden saffron threads, this collaborative effort promises an unforgettable dining adventure for all.
The culinary experience is a fusion of numerous dishes, with each chef pouring their pride, showcasing their cultural heritage, and narrating local stories through every course.
