Kanteen, Dubai Marina’s brand-new late-night restaurant, bar and lounge, is set to inject the city’s dining and social scene with a new kind of intrigue and adventure, at Millennium Place, from February 18th.

The late-night restaurant, bar and lounge offers an ideal blend of delicious Japanese cuisine, vibrant nightlife, old-school R&B and hip-hop sounds, contemporary hits, and mischievous vibes that set the scene for a nocturnal adventure all week long. Just as 3 is the number of perfection in Japan, it’s also the magic number at Kanteen, a venue that disappears by day and comes alive at night. When other venues across the city are winding down, Kanteen is busy unleashing a triple serving of great food, drinks and entertainment until 3am, every night, all week long. To celebrate Kanteen’s official opening, the first 33 people to arrive at the venue will be rewarded with 3 free drinks on the opening 3 nights, from February 18th to 20th.

At the heart of a great night out is great food, and Kanteen’s eclectic menu definitely doesn’t disappoint. Featuring a diverse range of mouth-watering Japanese cuisine, expertly prepared by the team of culinary samurai, the ever-evolving menu is stacked full of dishes for diners to ‘gatsu gatsu’ (devour) late into the night, from 7pm to 3am.
With scintillating starters to choose from and shrimp, calamari, enoki and seasonal vegetable tempuras, each dish is as delicious as the next at Kanteen. From outrageously tasty vegetarian, meat and seafood Robatayaki options, to an inspired salad selection, including Sashimi Salad, Duck & Iceberg Salad and Japanese Potato Salad – the menu is full of exciting options to really ignite the senses. For those in search of some sweet indulgence, desserts like Yuzu Cheesecake Lollipops, ‘Popcorn’ Snickers, Black Sesame Ice Cream, and Matcha Tiramisu are enough to amaze any appetite.
For the sake of a ridiculously good night out, a Sake Lady is a gamechanger! From the minute guests walk through the door, they are welcomed by Kanteen’s very own Sake Lady, to kickstart the good times. Who knows where she might pop up throughout the night, to treat guests to plenty of Sake surprises and more? Of course, where there’s Sake, there must be Sushi, and Kanteen’s sushi menu is the real deal! On top of lip-smacking Sashimi and Nigiri, the Signature Maki Rolls such as the Millennial Falcon Roll, Street Fighter Roll and Wing-man Roll are sushi treasures fit for an emperor.
The skilled team of mixology ninjas behind the bar are always ready to concoct a fresh dose of liquid gold in the form of irresistible Japanese-inspired cocktails, along with a wide assortment of international hops, spirits and more, while the resident DJ spins the very best old-school classics and contemporary R&B favourites all night long.
